Can’t Keep Up? Do This to Simplify Your Life …

http://damayanthijayasinghe.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/For-Blog.png

One thing we cannot control is time!

Most of us are so used to the phrase

“I don’t have enough time”

“Only if I had bit more time to ….. “ (fill in the blank)

Unfortunately it passes so fast right in front of our eyes.

But…

You know what

24 hours a day is the ONLY level playing field we all have.

Agree?

Have you ever noticed that some people can get a LOT done in 24 hours while others whine and complain about ‘lack of time’

The thing is we always make time to do the things that are MOST important to us.

In this video I share with you one of the strategies one of my mentors Marie Forleo taught our class.

After implementing I realize it is a sure fire way to achieve milestones in your business and get more done.

Here it is…

Click to Tweet -> If it is not scheduled, it is not real – Marie Forleo @Damayanthi

My challenge to you…

If you don’t have a system like this to get things done, take an hour or so from your day and do it.

Found this helpful? If so, please share with your friends 🙂

Did you face any challenges when you start scheduling items in your calendar? If so how did you overcome them? Or do you need more help to get your schedule sorted?

Look forward to hear from you…

Damayanthi

    Hi Dhamayanthi,
Great to see you after a long time.
What if i do not have time to prepare schedules …..
    ……………Just for fun….

When we look back at our past ..we come to a conclusion that things could have been better ..if and only if the time available was spent usefully..

Looking forward to your next video on Prioritizing schedules..
    Have a nice day..

      Thanks for stopping by Sudhakar.
Hahaha… of course you don’t have time to prepare a schedule. That’s why you need one.

This was something I put off for many months. But the couple of hours you take to do a schedule is a time well invested.

You are so right a schedule or daily method of operations is the only way to get things done. If you don’t schedule it it never gets done. Of course you have to remember to look at the schedule. Then that’s another subject for another video, don’t you think??

      Hi Doria,
You are so right… making a schedule is one thing & following it is a whole another thing.
It is a habit just like anything else. We need to develop success habits.

I did a 100 day challenge last year Damayanthi and they gave us a template in excel for a schedule so that we could block out certain times for work we needed to do. I thought it was done really well and it was color coded even.

You definitely have to schedule personal time in there as well but since I live alone I don’t really have to block my schedule out like that because I’m a workaholic anyway. Not that I’m complaining at all because I love what I do so I write everything down that I need to accomplish for the day and I just do it. I’m annoying in that way.

Great suggestion though and you’re learning from an expert for sure.

    Enjoy your week now.

      Hi Adrienne,

I don’t call you annoying, I think it is discipline. You know having a schedule is one thing and following it is a whole another thing.
I get interrupted sometimes with unscheduled family tasks like taking them to doctor etc. so I need to be realistic about what I schedule, specially the timelines for different task.

Thanks for your comments and have a great week.
