Gold Nuggets From Sri Sri Ravi Shankar -(The Art of Living Founder) Public Talk In Auckland

I had the good fortune of attending a public talk by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar the founder of Art of Living Foundation.

Actually my Yoga teacher told me about this and I decided to attend this just to see what it is about, and I am so glad that I did. I am very grateful for her for telling me about this talk.

Check this out:

This also made me thin of what Socrates once said. “Knowing thyself is the height of wisdom” – How powerful is this?

Here are some quotes by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

“Life is nothing to be very serious about. Life is a ball in your hands to play with. Don’t hold on to the ball.”

“Only Love can make life fulfilling.”

“Want” is always hanging on to the “I”. When “I” itself is dissolving, “want” also dissolves, disappears.

-Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

I absolutely LOVE that quote about life being wrapped in gold paper! Wow. How fantastic that you had the chance to hear from this wise man. Your take-aways are very powerful, indeed! That question of “Who am I?” is one that has challenged humans for centuries, and one that cannot be answered in a day. But if we devote some time to discovering our inner Truth, Life really does become a “ball we can play with.” Wonderful post, Damayanthi!

This is absolutely true and thank you for sharing. I love what you said towards the end about attraction. You are correct. You will attract that which you think about.
