In order to be successful in any endeavor, first you need to have the self belief that you are going to make it happen. You have to believe in your ability to be and do what is necessary in order to achieve the success you need.
Unfortunately it is not so easy as you may think. We have been conditioned to believe certain things over the years and you need to challenge your beliefs. This requires conscious effort on your part.
Watch this little video I did on this:
Finally, I want to share this section from the book “The mind power into the 21st century – by John Kehoe”
What is it that makes a person winner? What distinguishes those who succeed from those who fail? “It’s all in the mind”, says Arnold Schwarzenegger. “When I was very young I visualized myself being and having wha it was I wanted. Mentally I never had any doubts about it. The mind is so incredible. Before I won my first Mr. Universe, I walked around the tournament like I owned it. The title was already mine. I had won it so many times in my mind that there was no doubt I would win it. Then when I moved on to the movies, the same thing. I visualize myself being a successful actor earning big money. I could feel and taste the success. I just knew it would all happen.” – Chapter 3 Mind Power into the 21st Century.
Self belief plays an important role and it need to come before your success, believe you already have what you want and go do the action necessary to achieve it.

Damayanthi, Thanks for the wise words. We can learn so much from young people. In listening to you, today, I'm reminded of a statement in my friend, Sean Walsh's book, “Financial Illusions and the Realities of Money” : “We either wake up every day with hope for the future or we wake up just hoping to make it through the day.” http://www.illusionsandrealities.com
Have a wonderful day! Kevin

Damayanthi, This is a great post, I agree people need to believe in themselves to make it happen. In reading the article I perceived you have believe in yourself and bring inspiration to others. Keep up the good work ad have a great day.

Great post Damayanthi – our belief or disbelief in ourselves is evident in not only our words, but in how we carry ourselves. We've got to be our OWN biggest supporters in life, because like you said, if we don't believe in ourselves why should anyone else? Thanks for sharing.

Damayanthi, You have made some strong points here in your video blog. What caught my attention most is the age limitation mindset. You are absolutely correct, we are condition to think that just because we're too young, too old, not enough time, not enough money, etc we cannot start our own business. The truth of the matter is that we are afraid of what is the next step..afraid of the unknown. Change the “afraid” to excited because it keeps you up at night.

Thanks for the great thoughts. You are so right – a lot of our success depends on our self-belief. We should not put so much stock in what others think.

Great post! It is so true that when you have belief and confidence in yourself it radiates outward and others will automatically trust your ability because you are so solid in your belief of self. Thank you for sharing.

Yes , its very true . We have to have self believe , then only others can see confidence in us , and once they see something I have for them , then they automatically attracted to us.

This is a great piece about how your mind can work for you or against you. You have the right to choose which.
