Stop Struggling Use these 3 Easy Steps to replace your shocking habits

Stop Struggling Use these 3 Easy Steps to replace your shocking habits post image

Are you trying to change your circumstances? Are you still struggling to make your business work? Do you have any idea why you are in the current situation? This post will immensely help you replace your current not so successful habits with ones that will help you change your situation.

If you look at any top earner in any industry they have exceptional success habits. I am sure they all started somewhere and they identified the good habits and they just do them like clockwork.

I am sure you have heard it time and time again that you have to start with “End in Mind”.  Absolutely you need to know where you are going, but it says in mind, it doesn’t say focus on the End.

Let me elaborate this with an example. Lets say that you need more money.

So, you are focusing on,

NEED more money

Universe will grant your wish by keeping you “IN NEED OF MONEY”.

What you need is to focus on the your habits that will get you out of the needy situation.

Another common example is the need to lose weight. You are focusing on the need to lose weight, but not on the habits that will help you get out of the situation.

Step 1 – Examine your current habits

You have to be brutally honest with you here. Write them down. What are the actions you have taken so far got you to this situation.

Good example with MLM and Network marketing lead generation – Are you talking to enough people to on a daily basis?

How many leads do you get a day?

What lead generation methods are you using?

Are you consistent with your actions?

If you are doing hotel meetings how many meetings are you doing a week/month?

If you are doing drop cards; How many a day/week/montIf you are blogging how many posts a week?

If you are doing Facebook advertising, are you tracking them?

Are you learning the skills necessary to generate leads?

Are you honing in on one marketing method and taking consistent action or are you going from one to the other without any results?

How many unfinished projects do you have?

I can go on…

Don’t get me wrong; I do have some of the weaknesses I mentioned above. It is a working progress.

Step 2 – Make a decision to replace your current not so successful habits with successful habits

Now, look at all the habits you wrote down in step 1 and write down the successful habits you want to replace them with.

Example: I am talking to 10 people a day about my business opportunity.

I am starting a course on blogging.

I am going through the course on ‘XYZ’ I already have.

Step 3 – Take the 2 most important habits and focus on them day in day out for next 30 days

If you are not doing already, I recommend you taking up the habit of talking to people every single day. The number of people is totally up to you. You know just as I do, that more people you talk to the more money you will make.

The second most important habit is to form a habit of taking action with your desired marketing method.

If it is blogging – decide how many times a week you are going to post and do that.

If it is articles – decide how many articles a week and do that.

Once you are confident with that you have these habits are second nature to you then you can add another two.

Just go on doing this until you have developed a bunch of rituals that are serving you.

Bonus Step – Watch your Bank Account Grow!

If you follow these 3 easy steps you will be more productive, happy, you will have more time, money and freedom.

D- Super 3 step process to changing your habits and replacing them with “exceptional success habits”. It make sense to do something for 30 days to make a difference in your life.

    Thanks Bill.
I believe associating with people like you, who take their successful habits seriously is important as well.

What a wonderful post Damayanthi and so very true.

I finally learned, the hard way, that I kept bringing into my life everything I didn’t want because of my thinking. So it starts with changing the way you think about things and then from there, your habits.

You are right, we just need to step outside our comfort zone sometimes and do the work that’s needed in order to move us in the right direction. This is absolutely the way to success.

Bill is right, keep doing things differently for 30 days and you’ll form new habits. I don’t know about anyone else but I’m ready to make my habits ones that will move me in the right direction.

Exceptional post Damayanthi, thank you so much.

Thanks for your valuable comment Adrienne.

You are so right, we have to keep tab on our thinking because it is so easy for the unwanted thaughts to get in – Just like weeds!

Damayanthi, this is a great way to implement a 3 step process to replace our current habits. And you are so right that these habits that we add become second nature, and then we can add another one or 2.

Great tips Damayanthi! Most people ~think~ they are working at their business, but in reality they are not doing the actual WORK that grows their business. You hit the nail on the head with blogging and generating leads!!! Thanks for the post!

Powerful habits are one of the keys to success, for sure, and… um… I think someone just texted me… hold on… yup, yup. Now, where was I?

  • ginny June 22, 2012, 8:41 am

Always enjoy your posts. I think with our blogging course we definitely got hit over the head about changing our daily habit. If you are gonna blog…then blog. Not just 2x a month but at least every other day.

Incorporate it into your daily activity. Before you know it, you can have 100+ posts generating leads/sales for you.

    Love it.

The Great Dammi Does it Again!

This post even made me re-evaluate some things that I’m doing and need to do more of. A Check up From The Neck Up!

Making it a habit to take consistent action on a Daily Basis is definitely a habit thats worth investing 30 Days into creating. That way the Compounding Effect can work in our favor instead of against us.

    Thanks for sharing, Dammi!

    To Your Infinite Success,

    Hi Damayanthi,

Great advice you have given to people especially in Network Marketing.

One needs a blog for their central hub and must learn to do it properly. We need to brand ourselves and what we do rather than push a product.

Take your post for example, it gives great value to people. Teaching them what to do. Leading them. All they have to do is learn one thing and write about it. Considering all the information on the internet we can write forever ha ha.

But it all starts with your mindset. If you think out of the box, you will get yourself out of the box.

I like what you said about doing something for 30 days. That is the magic number that forms a habit. If you do or say an affirmation for 30 days it gets into your subconscious and becomes part of you. Then you don’t even have to give it a thought.

    Well done my friend,
    Donna Merrill

Hey Steve, you are funny … Thanks for stopping by my friend

  • Damayanthi June 25, 2012, 3:56 pm

So true Ginny. Great to associate with people like you.

  • Damayanthi June 25, 2012, 3:58 pm

Absolutely Marquel, we cannot discount the compounding effect. Just do something consistently and reap the rewards.

    Thanks for stopping by

  • Damayanthi June 25, 2012, 4:00 pm

    Hi Donna,

It is a good idea to start with one or two things and do it consistently, rather than starting a dozen things and not do anything.

I think 30 days is a good time frame to get into a habit. I also heard that the first 10 days is the hardest and once you passed that, it is easy to intergrate this new habit to your daily life

Thanks for stopping by and adding value.

    Hey Damayanthi,

I just read about the law of attraction, or law of intention as Dr. Wayne Dyer says it.
The Universe does NOT know lack. There is only lack in our minds. The Universe is always infinitely giving, at it gives exactly what we vibrate out to the World. If we feel lack of something, more of that comes right back. If feel abundant about money; it’s a message to the Universe that translates like this :” Send me more of what I have enough of! ”

    thanks for the share!

  • Damayanthi June 26, 2012, 9:56 am

    Hey Akos,

Yes, so true law attraction works whether we want to admit it or not.

    Thanks for adding value.
